Collection: DELETE JEAN
For several decades, Jean Delètre has been developing a unique universe where the imaginary and the everyday intertwine in a fusion of colors and emotions. His figurative works, full of humor and derision, reveal scenes of life where the characters evolve in a subtle balance between dream and reality. The attention he pays to details and chromatic composition gives his paintings a narrative richness and poetic depth.
He discovered painting in the 1970s and began with the glass technique before devoting himself entirely to canvas in 1996. Two years later he chose to leave his job as a house painter to devote himself exclusively to artistic creation. Since then, he has exhibited regularly in France and abroad, participating in numerous artistic events and festivals where his work is appreciated for its singularity and audacity.
