CHALOT Styvens

Styvens Chalot lives and works in Mayenne. After training at an art school in the 90s in Le Mans, he worked for twenty years as a graphic designer and model maker in the printing and advertising department before becoming a full-time teacher and artist.

Faced with the very colorful palette of Styvens, we feel a wonder sometimes worried, sometimes free or rebellious. His work on portraits transcribes familiar or imaginary characters who become a link with our origins. These inspire the artist who rediscovers the deep bond of humanity and its roots, combined with the elements of nature.
