Collection: JACOT Helen
Hélène Jacot has been drawing since childhood and has been exploring the art of dry pastel for over twenty years, a medium that allows her to express all the finesse and intensity of emotions. Trained for three years at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nantes, she refined her technique and developed a personal style combining softness and expressiveness.
The artist subtly masters the material, sometimes combined with an acrylic texture as an undercoat to bring relief and depth to her works. Passionate about the representation of looks and bodies, she creates vibrant portraits and compositions full of sensitivity.
An active member of the “Pastel à l'Ouest” Association, Hélène Jacot regularly participates in artistic events. Her talent has been recognized on several occasions with public awards.
With a wealth of experience in personal exhibitions throughout the region, the artist also shares her know-how by leading pastel classes for around fifteen years within an association. She also works as a workshop leader, passionately transmitting her love of pastel to many amateurs and budding artists.
Through his work, the artist invites the viewer to a poetic immersion in his universe, where each look and each gesture reveal a story, an emotion, a soul.
