Collection: GRANGE Nathalie
Nathalie Grange is an artist whose work questions the boundaries between popular image and contemporary art. Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, she uses acrylic painting, scraping and collage to question mass culture. Her works integrate fragments of articles from mainstream magazines, transforming everyday elements into artistic compositions. Through this practice, Nathalie Grange explores the relationship between media images and urban realities, creating a visual dialogue between the ordinary and the art world.
She captures the vibrant energy of the city: street noises, advertisements, logos and incessant movements are found in her canvases, saturated with colors and textures. These works are a reflection of modern agitation, where each element seems to merge to form a dynamic and living whole. By superimposing layers of paint and images, Grange gives her creations a singular depth, where the banal and the popular reinvent themselves to offer a new vision of urban reality.
