Collection: GARANGER Boris
Through his painting, the artist explores the notions of collective identity, anonymity and the relationship between the individual and the group. Inspired by contemporary issues and cinematographic influences, he composes moving scenes where clothed bodies seem to carry invisible stories, made of constraints, solidarity and shared hopes. His works, marked by tension between aggression and compassion, mix often cold tones with acidulous bursts, capturing anonymous silhouettes that embody universal stories. Drawing on everyday media images, he restores density and dignity to these figures, inscribed in dystopian atmospheres that he himself describes as "anticipation painting".
The lively and spontaneous gesture of his brush gives a vibrant energy to his compositions. Through his work, the artist questions the strength of the collective, the place of minorities and social dynamics in an era marked by individualism.
